9 Eighteen Pool Repair was founded on a foundation of family, community, and unwavering dedication. Our story begins with Tyler’s father, who founded 4M Construction in 1997, specializing in roofing and exterior construction. Community service was an expectation in our family home as both Tyler’s mother and father had committed their professional careers to law enforcement.

With his mother serving as a Lieutenant in the Frisco PD and his father as Prosper’s very first police officer and Chief of Police — our family played a significant role in shaping the town of Prosper, TX.

This commitment to service has continued with 9 Eighteen’s annual Christmas tree and gift drive and a Thanksgiving meal drive, each in their fourth consecutive year. In other words, giving back to our community is not just what we do but who we are.

Tyler began his professional career in high-pressure well control within the oil and gas industry, where he spent ten years working under extreme pressures of 20,000 psi+. As our family grew and our oldest started kindergarten, Tyler made the choice to stay close to home, leaving the oil fields for a new start in pool construction.

Starting from the bottom as a shovel hand at a top pool construction firm in Frisco, he quickly moved up to become the Director of Warranty and Renovations. It was here that Tyler noticed a gap in the pool service market — a need for truly reliable and customer-focused service.

In 2020, Tyler and Tori launched 9 Eighteen Pool Repair to meet that need, bringing high-quality pool repair and renovation services—including pool equipment repairs and upgrades, structural pool repair, pressure washing, and pool tile/masonry repair— to North Dallas and the surrounding areas. Trusted by the best builders in the metroplex, we’re passionate about delivering exceptional service to every customer we meet.

Outside of work, faith and family are number one in our book. We love Jesus Christ, and we’re committed to raising our three children with strong values. Tori homeschools them, balancing their education as she runs the business shoulder-to-shoulder with Tyler. When not working, we are at the lake, listening to live country music, or hunting and fishing. We love exploring Texas as a family, seizing every opportunity to enjoy the outdoors together.
